Grab the February edition of Record Collector (UK) for a great interview with Marshall Chess - lovely recollections of growing up at the height of the Chess label's success.

Anecdotes include the reasons for Chess being sold in 1969, the fierce but friendly rivalry with other independents and his relationship with some of the most influential blues and R&B players on the planet!!
