** Blues Bishops in Howden **

The Blue Bishops will be returning to play a one-off gig in Howden on Saturday, 12th Shire Hall at Howden, Yorkshire 01430 431535. Movinmusic is now helping to arrange a 2006 tour for the Blue Bishops between 7th - 16th July so all interested venue owners/promoters can contact us at [email protected] for booking info.   Here’s what they have to say about the gig:

“…Another very welcome return visit for one of the best bands to grace the Shire Hall stage, the harder, rocky edge of their blues style gives it a tremendously wide cross over appeal, so don't worry about "not liking blues" if you are considering turning out for this gig, you won't be disappointed!  This is one of only three performance's the Bishop's will be doing in the latter part of the year in the UK, virtually a one off gig, possibly a measure of the affection this band have for the Shire Hall and the tremendous times they have had here in the past. To say that this lot have pedigree's longer than both your arms would be putting it mildly.  It would be one of the understatements of the year to suggest that, in a year full of highlights, this evening will be one of the highlights of the year, but! yes folks! it will!!”
