hey b.b.you're right as rain,being an oldtime music lover and a big fan of the fifties,maybe some folks would like to discuss the legends[the drifters-the coasters-ruth brown-the flamingoes as well as the greats that you named]how bout it folks?

Well oldtimer, we already feature the Drifter, Coasters and Ruth Brown in the Artist Bios, and there's every chance Chuck might get there eventually
......the Drifters are one of the great R&B groups I think - for consistency of recordings and as pioneers of the move from R&B to uptown soul; and some of their writers weren't half bad either, were they?

Any UK based folks into this kind of stuff should go to the Rhythm Riot weekender in November every year (it is next weekend!) - check it out - www.rhythmriot.com

Over the last few years they have had Rosco Gordon, Nappy Brown, The Five Keys, Roy Gaines, Young Jessie, Clarence 'Frogman' Henry, Jimmy McCrackin and many many more!!
