Lee's 'See the Day' has had a lot of airplay by Ken Bruce recently, so I thought I'd find a copy. I prefer singles, but could only find it on compilation 'Shrine' at a sensible price. Seems to be the only heavyweight track on the disc so I did a search for details as there's none with the Sony BMG disc - found something at http://eil.com/ that seems to say the track was originally released as a single by Lee + Weller who (subsequently?) married, under the name The Council Quartet. Anyone know if that's the same recording? Was The Council Quartet predecessor to The Style Council? The biogs on the 'net don't mention the Quartet.
