The Blue Boards / Main Forums / General R&B; Chat / Rock the Joint This Morning - Date?
I'm putting together a collection (for myself, not commercially) of recordings from before 1955 that have "rock" in the title, and one recording I'm considering but cannot find a recording date or year for is "Rock the Joint This Morning" by Hal Paige and the Wailers.  It's a good one.  It was recorded, I believe, for the Old Town record label, probably in late 1954 or early 1955.

Do you know what year (or better yet, what date) "Rock the Joint This Morning" was recorded?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
