The Blue Boards / Main Forums / General R&B; Chat / New Essex Blues Club's 1st Gig - 25th Feb
New Essex Blues Club First Gig - Ian Siegal Band 25th Feb

The aim is to book only the very best in UK or International touring BLUES artists and place them in the intimate setting of THE BASSMENT CLUB. Chelmsford used to be the bastion for supereb Live Blues music and that must be re-established.

Ideally, artist availability permitting, the LAST SUNDAY of each month will be earmarked as BASSMENT BLUES night.

The launch night event will be:-

Ian Siegal Band

Rated as UK's premier Blues man Ian comes with a full band to open proceedings. See http://www.iansiegal.com or http://www.myspace.com/iansiegal where you can also view videos of the great man.

The Support couldn't get much better.  Essex's own STEVE CURTIS one of the UK's best flat top Country Guitar pickers who plays a very mean delta Blues. A singer-songwriter of the highest calibre. See http://www.stevejcurtis.com
