The Blue Boards / Main Forums / General R&B; Chat / Kemp Harris and “Mother Earth” blues
Hey! I’m new to the forum, and I was wondering if any one has heard anything by Kemp Harris before?

I have his first album “Sometimes in Bad Weather” and just found out that he’s doing a second album called “Edenton.”  Remember Memphis Slim’s version of “Mother Earth?” Great song!  I love that tune!  I read that Kemp covers this song on his new CD and I found Kemp on myspace recently and read that The Holmes Brothers are special guests on the new album. To me, it sounds like they are singing on “Sweet Weepin Jesus.” You can hear it and some other new songs too at http://www.myspace.com/kempharrismusic

Peace and good blues music to all!
