I'm looking for a 60's Los Angeles based R&B guitarist/singer with "Preacher" as part of his moniker.

Can anyone help?

Can you give us a bit more - I've looked long and hard through all my favourite sites and I can't find anyone that comes close to an LA player with "Preacher" in his moniker - anything else you can give us?

Sorry for disappearing.  I found the answer to my question; it's Jimmy "Preacher" Ellis, and here's a link to his bio:

Well, have to be honest, Jiimmy is new to me - I did find another brief bit of info about both him and the CD at the following link

Presumably, although he moved to LA in the 60s, he's still performing today???

As far as I know, "Preacher" is still around.

I was just watching "Lightning In A Bottle", the blues historical summit produced in 2003 by Martin Scorsese and released to theaters last year.  Some absolutely great moments from Buddy Guy to BB King, but our man, Solomon Burke was there in all his glory and did a killer version of "Down In The Valley."

If you haven't seen it, it's worth picking up.
