The all day event will feature some of the biggest names in Blues. Kicking off the event at 1.30 we have Bold, followed by exciting blues five piece, The Revelator Band. The headliner for the afternoon, Louisiana born Sherman Robertson has been touring for most of the last 3 decades where he has honed his exceptional guitar skills, and his ability to whip any audience into a frenzy. Blues on Stage refer to him simply as “electrifying” and BBC Radio 2 describe his live performance as “VERY VERY good indeed.”

The evening session keeps up the quality with Tantrum, Big Blue House and topped off with headliner Chris Farlowe and the Norman Beaker Band. London born Farlowe is the consummate rocker, the living embodiment of the star who's seen it all and done most of it, but remains fresh and enthusiastic. Blues Matters comments, “…you will  be amazed at the energy, originality and variety…his voice is as rich and strong as it was when he started out 42  years ago.”

Tickets for the whole day including dinner in Automatic cost £20. A day ticket without the meal costs £15 and an individual session ticket (evening or afternoon) costs a mere £10. For more information and for tickets, ring the ticket office on 0161 761 2216.
